Submitting to The Skin is easy. But before we go any further, we should tell you
some guidelines so we can all sound official and grown up and stuff.
- You don't have to be an ethnic minority to participate. Everyone
is welcome to submit. After all, we're interested in your content and not your color. We
encourage all sides to tell their personal insights, stories, anecdotes, etc.
- Submissions can be of any length.
- No racially or ethnically derogatory materials. Heck, we
don't know why we even have to tell you this because...
- We'll publish the materials as is, warts and all.
However, we reserve the right to edit your submitted materials.
- Send them with your name and a valid email address so we
can notify you once your article is published. A phone number would be nice, but not
required. Tell us also if you want to use an alias or pen name and your identity
will be STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL. If not, we'll assume you want us to use your real
name.
- Because of the limitations of our site, we cannot accept
pictures at this time.
- No copyrighted materials. That means
all the stuff you send in must be origs. By submitting to us, you are allowing us to
publish your material/s.
- We are not responsible for the contents of your
submissions.
- And lastly, don't ask for money. We're a zine for
heaven's sake. (Maybe in the future.)
- Make lots of noise.
I've read this and I'm ready to
submit to The Skin
